The Outrank team had an incredible evening celebrating workplace culture at the Great Place to Work UK Best Workplaces Awards at Grosvenor House, London, joining organisations from across the country that are recognised for creating fantastic environments for their teams!

It was a particularly special moment for us this year, as Outrank proudly SECURED SECOND place in the Medium Business category in the Great Place to Work® UK Best Workplaces 2026 list. Alongside this achievement, we’re also thrilled to have been officially recognised as a Great Place to Work Certified company for 2026.

These recognitions are based on direct feedback from our team and an independent evaluation of workplace culture, highlighting organisations where people feel supported, trusted, and genuinely proud to work.

For everyone at Outrank, attending the awards wasn’t just about rankings or recognition. It was a chance to celebrate the culture we’ve built together, reflect on how far we’ve come, and recognise the people who make Outrank such a great place to work every single day.

A Year of Recognition for Outrank’s Culture

The Great Place to Work certification adds to what has already been a standout year for Outrank’s workplace culture.

Earlier this year, Outrank was named Best Agency Culture at the Northern Digital Awards 2026, recognising the team environment, values and leadership that shape how the agency operates.

Outrank has also previously been recognised as one of The Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2025, another national accolade celebrating organisations that create exceptional employee experiences.

Together, these recognitions highlight a consistent focus on building a workplace where people feel valued, supported and empowered to succeed!

What Great Place to Work Certification Means

Great Place to Work is widely recognised as the global authority on workplace culture.

Certification is awarded through a detailed evaluation process that includes the Trust Index employee survey, where team members share honest feedback about leadership, fairness, pride in their work and the overall employee experience.

For Outrank, this recognition is particularly meaningful because it comes directly from the team.

It reflects the culture that has been created across the business and the shared commitment to making Outrank a place where people genuinely enjoy working.

Building a Culture That Supports Growth

Over the past few years, Outrank has experienced GROWTH, through that growth, one priority has remained constant, creating an environment where people can thrive.

The company’s culture is built around trust, collaboration and supporting personal development. Team members are encouraged to grow their skills, share ideas and take ownership of the work they do.

This approach not only strengthens the team internally but also helps Outrank deliver outstanding results for clients.

A Message from the Big Boss, our CEO

Founder Stephen Robinson say the latest recognition reflects the company’s ability to grow while protecting the culture that helped build its success:

‘We’ve always believed that strong culture drives strong results. Moving from 77th place to 3rd in the small business rankings last year was an incredible moment for us, and now stepping into the medium category at position 2 shows just how much the business has grown in a short space of time.

But growth only matters if you bring your culture with you. Our team has expanded significantly, but our focus remains exactly the same – creating an environment where people enjoy coming to work, feel supported, and have the opportunity to develop their careers.’

Founded in 2018, Outrank has grown rapidly in both headcount and client base, while continuing to expand its full-service digital marketing offering across SEO, website design, PPC, digital PR, social media, branding, and email marketing.

The company’s people-first philosophy has played a central role in that growth. Rather than hiring only when vacancies arise, Outrank operates an open-door recruitment approach, meaning talented individuals are encouraged to apply at any time.

Being recognised as a Great Place to Work Certified organisation means a lot because it comes directly from our people. It shows that the culture we’ve built together is something special!

A Culture Designed to Grow With the Team

Head of Culture, Lucy Stirman said the recognition highlights the importance of continuously investing in the team experience.

‘Culture doesn’t happen by accident. It comes from listening to people, creating opportunities for growth and making sure everyone feels supported.

Seeing the team recognised in this way is incredibly rewarding because it reflects the environment we have all worked together to create.’

Lucy added that maintaining a strong workplace culture will remain a key focus as Outrank continues to grow.
