Why Teesside Hospice?

Every day, it costs around £7,000 to keep Teesside Hospice running — providing vital care, support, and comfort to patients and their families facing life-limiting illnesses. It’s a place where compassion meets expert care, and community support really makes a difference.

Thanks to events like this, and the generosity of everyone involved, the hospice can continue its life-changing work in the heart of the community.

Highlights From the Match

Alt Labs got off to a flying start with early goals from Craig McManus and Anthony Bradshaw, but Outrank’s Craig Gall kept them in the game with a goal before halftime.

The second half was a rollercoaster, with Jonno Williams extending Alt Labs’ lead, then Outrank battling back through goals from John Paul (who earned Man of the Match for his outstanding midfield performance) and Craig Gall again, to level the score at 3–3.

But Alt Labs had the last word with late goals from Lee Scott and a second from Anthony Bradshaw, sealing a thrilling 5–3 win.

The match started at a high tempo, with Alt Labs seizing the early momentum. In the 17th minute, Craig McManus opened the scoring with a tidy finish. Moments later, Anthony Bradshaw added a second, capitalising on a fast break to put Alt Labs 2–0 ahead.

Outrank FC, buoyed by the Riverside crowd and guided by Dimi’s leadership from the dugout, fought back with a smart finish from Craig Gall just before the break, narrowing the score to 2–1 and setting up a compelling second half.

Halftime Highlight: Mascot Penalties with Roary & Ozzy

The halftime break brought a moment to remember: a children’s penalty shootout on the pitch, joined by Roary the Lion and Ozzy the Otter.

Kids from the crowd each got a chance to score, laugh, and celebrate with the mascots — a wholesome and unforgettable experience for the youngest fans.
