As many of you already know, we’re gearing up for something really special here at Outrank – a Charity Football Match that’s more than just a game. On Sunday, 25th May 2025 at 11:30am, two of the North East’s leading digital forces — Outrank and Alt Labs — will face off at the iconic Riverside Stadium, home of Middlesbrough FC, in support of Teesside Hospice.
We’re not just stepping onto the pitch for bragging rights, we’re doing it to support a cause close to our hearts, and we’re inviting our community to join us. You can purchase tickets for this event here.
A Match Made for Middlesbrough
Middlesbrough is known for its big heart, community spirit, and fierce local pride – and this event is a chance to see all of that come together in one unforgettable day.
The charity match will feature 32 players from both businesses and the wider community, playing a full 90-minute, 11-a-side game in front of colleagues, family, friends, and supporters. To make it even more special, 180 hospitality seats will be available in the Directors’ Suite, giving guests a premium view, comfortable seating, and refreshments throughout the match.
And for the little ones? There’ll be a live penalty shoot-out with Middlesbrough FC’s beloved mascot, Rory the Lion – a perfect photo opportunity and a fun memory in the making.
Why We’re Doing This
All proceeds from the match will go directly to Teesside Hospice, a charity providing critical care and support for local people affected by terminal illness. As a business born and bred in the North East, we feel a deep responsibility to give back to the community that has supported us – and we believe local businesses have a vital role to play in uplifting the causes that truly matter.

Donating to a hospice is a deeply compassionate act that brings comfort and dignity to individuals facing the end of life, while also providing essential support to their families.
These donations help fund pain management, emotional counselling, and personalised care, ensuring that patients can spend their final days with peace and respect.
For families, hospice support eases the emotional and financial burdens during an incredibly difficult time, offering guidance, respite, and a sense of community. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a meaningful difference in preserving the quality of life when it matters most.
