We’re proud to share that Outrank has once again been named among the Ward Hadaway North East Fastest 50, ranking 28th in the 2026 list.
Even better, we’ve moved up from 30th place in 2025, marking another year of continued growth for the business.
The Ward Hadaway Fastest 50 celebrates the fastest-growing privately owned and profitable companies across the North East, with rankings based on average turnover growth over a three-year period.
For 2026, Outrank recorded average turnover growth of 31.91%, placing us firmly among some of the region’s most ambitious and successful businesses.
What Is the Ward Hadaway North East Fastest 50?
The Ward Hadaway North East Fastest 50 is an annual ranking produced by Ward Hadaway in partnership with The Journal.
Businesses are ranked according to their average turnover growth, calculated using financial figures filed over the previous three years.
To make the list, businesses must demonstrate sustained growth alongside profitability, making the Fastest 50 a strong reflection of long-term business performance rather than short-term success.
This year’s list includes businesses from across a wide range of sectors, from engineering and construction to technology, retail and professional services.
For Outrank to appear once again, and move further up the rankings, is something we’re incredibly proud of.
What Does Ranking 28th Mean for Outrank?
Being named 28th in the North East Fastest 50 reflects the continued growth taking place across Outrank.
Over the last few years, we’ve continued to expand our team, our services and the number of businesses we support across the UK, while remaining firmly rooted in Middlesbrough.
Moving from 30th position in 2025 to 28th in 2026 also shows that the progress we’re making is continuing year after year.
For us, growth has never simply been about getting bigger. It is about building a stronger business, investing in our people, improving what we deliver for our clients and creating opportunities for the team around us.

Our Fastest 50 ranking comes during what has already been a huge year for Outrank.
In 2026, we’ve continued to receive recognition for both our business performance and the culture we’ve built around it.
We were named Best Agency Culture at the European Agency Awards, ranked among Europe’s Best Small & Medium Workplaces™, placed among the UK’s Best Workplaces and Best Workplaces for Women, and were recognised in the Sunday Times Best Places to Work.
Closer to home, we were also named Tech Business of the Year at the Tees Tech Awards.
More recently, Outrank was ranked 74th in the Prolific North Top 150 Agencies, another milestone that reflects how far the business has grown.
Being included in the Ward Hadaway Fastest 50 adds another piece to that story.
