With nearly a decade of experience in search engine marketing, she understands what it takes to drive real client results. She brings that knowledge into how teams operate day to day, helping create an environment where performance and people go hand in hand.

Lucy plays a key role in keeping the team consistent, supported, and set up to succeed, which directly impacts the quality of work delivered to clients. Her focus on culture, wellbeing, and development helps Outrank scale while staying true to what makes the business strong.

Background & Experience

Lucy joined Outrank in 2017 and has grown alongside the business, becoming a key part of its development across SEO, marketing, and culture. She now leads the company’s marketing, driving how the brand shows up across digital channels and ensuring Outrank’s services, expertise, and results are communicated clearly and consistently.

With a strong background in search engine marketing and wider digital strategy, Lucy understands what drives visibility, engagement, and client growth. She uses that experience to align marketing with commercial performance, supporting both new business and long-term client relationships.

Alongside marketing, Lucy leads on culture, health, and wellbeing, working closely with leadership to build an environment where people feel supported, connected, and motivated to perform. Her focus on people directly contributes to team stability, consistency in delivery, and the overall quality of client work.

Lucy brings Outrank’s YOU values into everything she does, encouraging a one-team mindset and a culture built on pride, care, and accountability. As the business continues to scale, her role remains central to maintaining a strong brand, a high-performing team, and a culture that supports long-term growth.

Qualifications

Lucy holds a BA (Hons) in Marketing from Leeds Beckett University and is CIM certified in Advanced Social Media. Her qualifications support a practical, people-focused approach to marketing, SEO, and internal communications.

A Bit More About Lucy

Outside of work, Lucy is a busy mum to a little girl and spends much of her time juggling family life with trips to activities, events, and days out, including regular beach visits. She also heads up Outrank’s book club, The Outrank Sisterhood Reads, bringing the team together through a shared love of reading. At the weekend, Lucy enjoys spending time with friends, often over a drink or two, and making the most of her downtime.

Lucy leads Outrank’s culture with a clear belief that performance and responsibility go hand in hand. She plays a key role in shaping our Corporate Social Responsibility strategy, ensuring that wellbeing, community impact and ethical growth sit at the centre of how we operate.

From supporting local charities and regional initiatives to strengthening employee wellbeing programmes, Lucy helps turn our CSR commitments into daily actions. She works closely with leadership to make sure responsible business practices are not just statements on a page, but behaviours embedded across the agency.
