James began his career in photography, spending two years as a photography assistant working with various companies and magazines. He later developed his visual and editing expertise as a photo retoucher, working on high-quality imagery for holiday properties.
He then transitioned into digital marketing, building four years of experience across in-house and agency environments. His background includes one year working across multiple marketing functions in-house, followed by two years at an agency where he specialised in both email marketing and PPC.
This varied experience gives James a strong understanding of campaign performance, visual presentation and customer engagement across digital channels.
James holds a Degree in Photography and a PGCE in Teaching, providing a strong foundation in visual communication, creativity and audience engagement.
His qualifications support his ability to combine analytical campaign thinking with strong creative awareness across paid media activity.
Outside of work, James enjoys playing squash, spending time outdoors and exploring his interests in photography and art. He also enjoys catching up with friends over drinks at the weekend and making the most of his downtime.
